Franklin Caravans has announced an all-new range, the Core.
Comprising 11 different layouts, the five-model Core range can sleep two and was designed for couples venturing into the world of caravanning for the first time and those looking for something a bit smaller.
The range was launched at this year’s Melbourne Leisurefest. “We had plenty of couples who see the Core as a great way to start exploring Australia and many seasoned caravanners wanting to downsize from a family van to something just for two,” Franklin Caravans director Keir Smith said.
Compact on the outside, at under 6m long, it has a reasonably low travel height of 2m.
With a Tare weight starting at two tonnes, the Core can be towed by a wide variety of vehicles.
Standard features include air-conditioning, a 190L fridge, gloss cupboard doors, gas-electric hot water heater, a washing machine, dual 95L water tanks, and a 100Ah AGM deep-cycle battery.
