Apollo RV has relaunched the Windsor brand, using the Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow to debut a new motorhome.

Known as the Daintree, the new Windsor rig is built on a Renault chassis and can be driven on a standard car licence.

“Externally, the Daintree is visually impressive, with striking Windsor decals and sleek black aluminium extrusion against fresh white composite panels of one-piece floor, walls and roof,” Apollo national marketing manager Simon Kerr said.

“Windsor will continue to offer superior weight, insulation and durability properties across its entire product range.

“While we’re certain the style, quality build and attractive price point will appeal to current motorhome customers, we are confident this modern design will also intrigue first-time RV owners.”

The Daintree offers a dual-purpose layout incorporating a full kitchen, a leatherette dinette, and a rear bathroom with separate shower and toilet. Mr Kerr said that Apollo intended to release additional motorhome models throughout 2020.

Apollo acquired Windsor Caravans in June 2018 and has since released two out of six Windsor Genesis caravan models. The Windsor Daintree is the first motorhome release for the renowned brand and has a market price of $103,990.
