Gold Class Caravans has released the AC22C, its new flagship Adventure Class model and the brand’s first entry into the 4.5t ATM category.
The AC22C is a 22ft layout that now leads the Gold Class range in one of the most popular and closely compared segments in the Australian caravan market: the premium offroad couples’ category.
Airbag suspension by Airbag Man, 1380Ah of Enerdrive lithium battery power, 2090W of rooftop solar, electric roof-mounted sliding solar panels and a 3000W Enerdrive inverter charger are just some of the inclusions. An additional 30A of portable solar can be connected to the system via the dedicated Anderson solar inputs. This isn’t a token 12V setup.
There’s also an external entertainment hub, an external laundry, internal induction cooking, a dishwasher, an external slide-out kitchen, a 60L external fridge, a 224L internal fridge, and an external fridge slide to suit a 95L portable fridge.
This van is built on a hot-dipped-galvanised chassis, a Cruisemaster DO45 hitch, Tuson asymmetric stability control, electric stabiliser legs and polyurea-coated, laser-cut alloy tank armour.
The Gold Class Caravans AC22C also includes 320L of freshwater capacity, a 120L grey water tank, 16in alloy wheels with mud terrain tyres, front mounted Maxtrax recovery boards, a rear service ladder and electric spare wheel unloader. The Gusto Dust Reduction System adds another practical layer of confidence for dusty tracks, gravel roads and remote-area travel.
The external laundry includes an NCE 3kg wall-mounted washer/dryer, integrated external laundry bench and collapsible wall-mounted clothesline.
The entertainment hub comes with an NCE Google-ready 40in TV, that 60L compressor fridge, a Fusion marine stereo with 6in speakers, phone charging dock, RCA and HDMI points, and 12V LED mood lighting.
