Urban Group Launches Maverick Caravans

A new name, the same Maverick vans, and a clear path forward for customers whose orders are already on their way.

Maverick Caravans, now under Urban Group ownership, was officially launched on October 5 following the recent liquidation of Maverick Campers. Urban Group has secured an agreement with the range’s original manufacturer to take on all future stock, along with the customer orders currently being shipped to Australia.

The partnership will retain the designs and build quality, but with a renewed focus on customer service and after-sales support, according to Urban Group.

“Nobody who saved for a caravan should be left wondering where it is,” said Steven Trajcevski, managing director of Urban Group. “When we learned these vans were already on the water, we moved quickly to secure them and the factory relationship behind them. Today, we’re giving Maverick customers clarity and a clear path forward.”

Customers with a Maverick Campers order in progress are asked to contact Urban Group’s Maverick Caravans team with proof of purchase. The team will match each order to the stock in transit and contact customers individually to arrange next steps.

  1. Email maverickcaravans@urbangroup.com.au;
  2. Include your full name, phone number and the model ordered;
  3. Attach proof of purchase: an invoice, signed order form, deposit receipt or bank transfer record; and
  4. A dedicated member of Urban Group’s Maverick Caravans team will be in touch with next steps.

Customers with a claim against Fetch Business Solutions should continue to deal with the appointed liquidator, Jirsch Sutherland, on matters relating to that company.

Warranties on Maverick Campers vans were issued by the company now in liquidation. While Maverick Caravans has not taken on those obligations, Urban Group does not want owners left without support. Warranty requests from existing Maverick owners will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, considering the age of the van, the nature of the issue and its service history.
