The MDC Series 2 range builds on the success of the original Forte SR Series, released in June 2024.

The floorplans across the Forte SR Series 2 have been refined and expanded, with two additions developed in direct response to customer demand: a 20ft triple bunk family layout, and a 19ft couple’s layout with rear door, improving access, flow and everyday usability. There are seven purpose-built models in the range overall, spanning 11ft to 22ft, designed to suit couples, families and long-term travellers.

MDCAt the core of the Series 2 range is a significant uplift in power, performance and off-grid capability. Across the range, MDC has increased battery and solar capacity by 50 per cent (now 300Ah lithium and 525W of rooftop solar as standard, except on the Forte SR11 S2). DC charging performance has been increased by 80 per cent thanks to the standard 45A DC-DC charger. A 1600W Projecta pure sine wave inverter and a 7in touchscreen from Projecta are also part of the package.

Tuson Electronic Stability Control is also now standard on every model, combining with MDC’s proven independent coil spring suspension, hot-dipped galvanised chassis and durable construction platform.

MDCKey features across the range include a large Dometic compressor fridge (capacities of up to 200L), kitchens featuring Thetford appliances, Truma gas/electric hot water systems, internal ensuites with Thetford cassette toilets, integrated NCE washing machines in larger models as well as smart storage solutions throughout.

From compact hybrid touring through to family triple bunk layouts and premium club lounge configurations, the range has been designed to meet a wide range of travel styles without compromise, according to MDC.

The Series 2 introduces a completely refreshed aesthetic direction for MDC. Externally, the range adopts a sleek, automotive-inspired design, delivering a more modern and refined on-road presence.

Internally, the design combines matte white and ‘sage green’ cabinetry, oak-look benchtops, ‘heritage oatmeal’ upholstery and ‘gunmetal grey’ fixtures.

MDCMarket Direct Group founder and director Vaughan Hindley said the Series 2 range represented a significant step forward for the brand.

“When we launched the original Forte SR Series in 2024, the response from customers was incredibly strong. With the Forte SR Series 2, we’ve taken everything people loved about that range and made it better – more capability, more refinement, and more included as standard.”
