Royal Flair is targeting budget-conscious caravan buyers with the return of its classic Micron.
With its rear-door entry, the new 16ft Royal Flair Micron retails for $75,990.
But just because it’s an ‘entry level’ caravan doesn’t mean it doesn’t get the full Royal Flair treatment. It’s built atop a painted 6in SupaGal chassis with 6in drawbar, white the body is built from fibreglass sandwich panels and a ‘honeycomb’ flooring system. Rather than being equipped with black checkerplate protection, the body has been given a skirting of smooth, powder-coated Bluescope steel sheeting.
As standard, it has a 100Ah lithium battery, 200W of solar on the roof, a BMPRO battery management system, 180L of fresh water capacity, and Al-Ko leaf suspension. Internally, there’s a small ensuite, kitchen, dinette and queen-size bed.
Partially, the idea behind the van is to introduce the Royal Flair marque to a new range of potential customers, people who want a top-tier brand without the price tag to match.
Stay tuned: GoRV will have a full review and video next issue on this intriguing little number!
