Snowy River Caravans has acquired Geelong Caravans, marking a significant expansion into Victoria’s growing south-west corridor for one of Australia’s largest RV distributors.
The established dealership, located on the Bellarine Highway, Newcomb, has been a cornerstone of the local caravan community for nearly five decades. It currently retails brands such as Avan, Olympic and Victory, and will continue to do so until the end of May 2025.
From June 2025, the site will be transformed into a dedicated Snowy River Caravans dealership and service centre. CEO Andrew Crank said the acquisition reflected the brand’s continued growth and long-standing ambition to service the Greater Geelong region.
“Geelong has been on our radar for years,” Mr Crank said. “This acquisition allows us to deliver our products and services to a thriving community that appreciates quality and value in equal measure.”
The acquisition is part of Snowy River Caravans’ broader mergers and acquisitions strategy, with the brand remaining active in seeking further opportunities to expand its national footprint.
Having been in business for 10 years, Snowy River Caravans has grown into one of Australia’s best-selling RV brands, with 15 dealerships around the country and an expanding product line-up.
