Inside the Forbes 11…

According to MDC, the Forbes 11 was ‘designed for those who want to explore without limits, combining rugged offroad engineering with clever use of space and an impressive list of premium inclusions rarely seen in this class.’

“MDC has always been about bringing big adventure within reach. The Forbes 11 captures everything people love about the Forbes range – strength, comfort, and value – but in a lighter, more agile package,” MDC managing director and founder Vaughan Hindley said.

Key features of the Forbes 11 include:

  • 200Ah of lithium battery power;
  • 550W of rooftop solar;
  • A 270° awning with full annexe that will allow you to transform your campsite into a huge, protected outdoor living space within minutes;
    An internal combination ensuite;
  • A diesel heater; and
  • A Truma Aventa air-conditioner.

At just 11ft, the Forbes 11 is compact and SUV-friendly, with a Tare weight of about 1950kg and ATM of 2500kg. It comes with a hot-dipped-galvanised chassis, X-TRACK independent trailing arm suspension, and offroad mud terrain tyres, so it’s ready for the backroads straight from the factory.

The Forbes 11 also comes standard with Tuson stability control.
Add in the water tanks, an external stainless steel kitchen complete with a Thetford gas cooktop, a full 12V electrical system from Projecta with a 1600W pure sine wave inverter, huge king size bed, internal combination ensuite and you’ve got everything you need to travel further in comfort.
